And we're live!
RePlanet Australia’s official launch in Brisbane last month was a huge success! We met with politicians from across the political spectrum, spoke with media and engaged in some street level action: handing out flyers, talking to people on the city streets about RePlanet, then took part in the Move Beyond Coal Brisbane protest demanding NAB stop funding fossil fuels.
Below is a snippet of our blog post about the launch. Read the full post on our website:
“We were privileged to have a visit from Tea Törmänen, RePlanet’s International Coordinator [...] Australians are intrigued by the Finnish experience of a Green party with a positive view on both nuclear power and genetic modification in agriculture. This is a fantastic success that we hope to replicate in Australia.”
'What A Waste' report on spent nuclear fuel
Last month RePlanet International launched its What a Waste report which you can find here. The page also includes a handy 'Did you know' section that explains in a nutshell how spent nuclear fuel can be recycled, and addresses some common concerns.
